A wonderful fibre sculpture whose shape is inspired by nature and represents a hanging cocoon. The cocoon has a beautiful beige colour as it is made out of natural cotton rope. The material also makes this sculpture soft, warm and pleasant to touch. This work is made in ancient knotting technique known as macrame. The one and only sculpture from the collection COCOONS that doesn’t have any opening. It is handmade and can differ slightly in size and shape from the original. Colours may vary from one screen to another. One screw eye for mounting is included (mount type: ceiling).
